Galasport MANIC MCQ Kayak Paddle 2-pc VARIO
Galasport MANIC is an impressive paddle designed specifically for white water paddling that was inspired by the famous slalom blade Naja. It’s profile provides powerful stroke that’s required for big technical water, creeking and extreme kayak racing. There is no classic alloy edge. MANIC has Dynel edging - stiffer and even more abrasion resistant.
MANIC MCQ is a Carbon paddle manufactured by Galasport Monocoque Technology – paddle blade made in one piece with half of the shaft. It’s supplied as a two-piece kit with a precisely calibrated joiner so the consumer can trim the shaft to required length and assemble with desired angle.
This is a 2-pc paddle with US VARIO joiner, that unbales adjusting the paddle length and blades angle. This paddle is supplied as a kit with two 100 cm long halves and with the joiner (clamp) already installed by the factory on the right half. The left half can be trimmed to desired length – say 96cm and with the spigot glued in the assembled paddle will be 196cm long with extension up to 206 cm max and any desired angle.
Note for assembly use high strength Epoxy, such as Selleys ARALDITE Super Strength Epoxy. Available at Bunnings and other hardware stores.

Available on Galasport Elite white water paddles - this composite rope material absorbs the impact and protects the edge of the paddle blade in substantial cotact with rocks or similar. Great abrasion resistance of Dynel material also helps to reduce the wear of the blades.
