I have paddled about 20-hours in the Gumotex Seawave, about half of that one one paddle - around the island of Niue. I've done a lot of ocean paddling, in sea kayaks, surfskis and inflatables, in many different countries and conditions.
Inflatable kayak technology has allowed me to trips into some countries or places I couldn't get hard shell kayaks, New Caledonia, Australia and now Niue. That said, I regularly paddle inflatables in rivers in summer.
